about

"Canzoni tutte uguali" was the last release of the Italian band ONQ, as well as the first featuring lyrics in Italian.
Now ONQ was then a one-man band, being Luca Galuppini the only member. ONQ is based in La Spezia, North Italy, between Genova and Pisa.
ONQ's previous work ("Dasein ohne Leben") was released in USA by Bluesanct/Orphanology in 2002, when ONQ was still a 4-piece band,
hence the difference in the sound. Other past ONQ works are "The Supreme Weight" and "The Supine Waste" (2001),
"Bound to the Whips of Aeronautical Fatwa" (7" in collaboration with Oregon's MINMAE, Dhyana records, 2001) and a number of tapes that came
out all through the 90's, released by a bunch of indie tape-labels worldwide.
"Canzoni tutte uguali" is the first ONQ album with lyrics in Italian (Luca Galuppini used to sing in English on all his past releases)
and also the first work involving female singers. The 3 female singers were borrowed from other Italian acts (In My Room, Kech, Pecksniff)
ONQ dealed with in the past, for exaple ONQ has been for long the musical-saw player in the live performances of Pecksniff.
The original edition has been for long sold out. Here we present a re-edition of "Canzoni tutte uguali", in a very limited number
of copies (15), featuring the original hald stamped cover. Enjoy and get you copy before it's too late, as it won't be pressed again. Sorry.

Under My Bed Recordings Vergiate, Italy

Under My Bed Recordings, is a No-Profit label based in Milan (Italy), founded in 2001, dedicated to home-recording productions. For us, do-it-yourself is a choice and an attitude, not a budget limitation. Hence, we preferentially produce minimalist folk, pop and, more rarely, electronic acts. We prefer to listen to Fe-magnetic supports, but anything else would be simply fine. We love tapes indeed ... more
